APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Spartan products are built using standard relational database management (RDBM) technology. Our Windows-based software products operate on a Windows or AS/400 platform with MS SQL Server or DB2 as the backend. Optional web-based inquiries are written in Microsoft® .NET with C# or VB.NET. Major products are developed with CA PLEX, a rapid application development (ARAD) tool that generates code for different server implementations with one set of C++ clients. For report generation, Spartan uses Crystal Reports®. For the future, Spartan has plans to develop a web-based product line.
